Luxor

Luxor is located 670 km south of Cairo. This ancient city is part of old “Thebes the Hundred crated” which welcomed visitors from all the countries of the ancient world. 1- Full Day Tourto West Bank: Valley of Kings-Deir El Bahari Temple-Colossi of Memnon and The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

E Excursion to the Necropolis of Thebes, on the Eastern bank. Crossing the Nile, drive to the Valley of Kings; visit the tombs of various Dynasties, The Temple of Deir El Bahari . On the return journey stop at the Colossi of Memnon which are two gigantic sitting statues representing Amenopis III facing the Nile. Then visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Morning we drive to Abydos , where the Ancient Egyptians believed the God Egypt (lord of the underworld)was buried. The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt. We then continue to Denderah to visit the Temple of Hathor , Goddess of love and joy. Hathor Temple, with its sacred lake and famous astrological roof, is a delicately beautiful structure. Hathor is the Patroness of the Ahathoor Temple.

Visit the Temple of Esna , built during the reign of Thutmose III and dedicated to the Ram-God Khnum whom the ancient Egyptian believed fashioned man from mud of the Nile on his potter’s wheel.
